Y12SR - Sundays
Y12SR: the issues live in our tissues.
The Yoga of 12 Step Recovery combines the practical tools of the 12-step program with the ancient wisdom of yoga.
Combining the two creates a model that truly addresses addiction as the physical, mental and spiritual disease that it is. Y12SR is a 12-step based discussion and yoga practice that is open to anyone and everyone dealing with their own addictive behavior or affected by the addictive behavior of others. This is an open and inclusive group, all A's are welcome. No yoga experience required. The only requirement for Y12SR membership is the ability to breathe. Wear comfortable clothing, meetings are by donation.
Lizz Ortolani , LMSW, RYT, trained as a Y12SR leader in 2018 and graduated 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training with Yoga 4 A Good Hood in 2019. Lizz began practicing yoga when she was exploring Step 11 and through Y12SR found space to pass on that which was freely given to her by the yogis and 12 steppers who came before her.
This is a donation based class that benefit Y4AGH. Details will be given in class.
